6th Grade Religion *Week of 1/9-1/13*

Hello 6th graders,

This week we will be discussing the new changes in the Mass! It’s been a bit of an adjustment since the Church adopted the changes and I feel it is important that we fully understand why it all happened.

In order to help with this, please watch this video below. It is a good introduction to understanding the changes. We will look into the changes in the prayers in more detail during Religion class.

Thank you for your cooperation,

Mrs. Sosa

7th Grade Science *New Worksheet & Power Point* for the week of 1/9-1/13

Hello 7th graders,

Here is the worksheet for this week! Please bring it to class everyday! Remember, there is a new rule: NO MORE GOING BACK TO CLASS FOR YOUR STUFF! BE PREPARED!

Human Body Systems Worksheet

Human Body Systems PowerPoint

You will receive one copy in class. If you lose it, it’s your responsibility to find another solution. You must turn it in for credit.

Thanks,

Mrs. Sosa

2012 is FINALLY HERE!

Well, it’s been quite an adventure so far and I cannot wait to jump start this new year off the right way!

Let’s open this new year with a prayer:

Dear Lord,

Thank you for all the many blessings 2011 brought us. Please be with all the families and students of St. Raphael this year as they enter into this new year of 2012. May we continue to serve you in all that we do and say. Give us the courage to work hard and persevere in everything we do inside and outside of the classroom. Help us to remember what is important and keep us humble throughout. We love you and we praise you!

In your name we pray,

Amen!

Thank you for joining me in that prayer. Well here we go!
